Context Background

Since the announced of remote learning (PJJ), several users who have joined the Pahamify student community platform have complained that they often experience demotivation, illness, and uncontrolled study time due to the many assignments and lack of interaction with friends.

In addition, the current condition is that 12th grade (G12) is preparing for Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK), but they also still need to do assignments and take practical exams. The product team (PM, UX, and UI team) wanted to know what G12 needed to prepare for UTBK.

In addition, many of the students wish to take tutoring (online and offline), but have economic limitations. The product team wants to know whether the benefits and package prices offered by Pahamify are within the student's budget or not.

A few months ago Pahamify just launched a new feature namely Pegasus and currently, this feature has not been evaluated since its launch.

Research Objectives

• Understanding the current mental state and study behavior of Pahamify students throughout remote learning (PJJ) and face-to-face (PTM) class.
• Figure out users’ desirability in academic and non-academic materials for UTBK/Exam preparation.
• Gather any feedback and impressions of our latest released feature: Pegasus. Pegasus is an adaptive exercise question feature that adapts to students' understanding.

Scope & Focus Area

This research will be conducted to understand students’ mentality in:

• Current situation (remote learning (PJJ))
• Post-pandemic situation (face-to-face (PTM))

Focus to capture the desirability (general study habit) of users based on:

• User needs
• Pain points
• Workarounds
• Buying behavior
